You've cat to be kitten me right meow

Not even kitten, but I have such a massive obsession with cats... and unicorns....and laser beams....Anyway, when I saw this bejewelled cat-inspired skirt (cat ears included!), I could not purrs up the opportunity. To avoid looking like a run-away circus ensemble, match bold, loud skirts with simple mono-toned tops, and go for simple accessories.

I've matched mine with the Michael Kors white watch and Dior Taffetas in Black. What do you think? Purr-fect or just not feline it today?

.

I know if there was a pun quota, I would have absolutely slaughtered it by now, but since I'm at it anyway: Meowy New Year (I know it doesn't fit, but desperate pun)! On an actual note, have a great new years readers, much love and many warm wishes xx

a Laser Cut above the rest

I absolutely love laser-cut clothing. It's clean, statement worthy and has such amazing texture (only con is that they're so hard to wash). Great for days when you're feeling laser-y, because they actually look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit!

Keeping this one short and sweet, but wishing everyone a great Christmas!

Leather forecast

Leather forecast ahead: black to basics with simple black and white ''clean dressing'', and asymmetrical skirts. For something a bit more daring, try a red lippy with a crop top (add a boyfriend blazer if  you're afraid of showing too much skin!).

In the Lime Light

Limes: perfect for tequila, salmon and fashion. Make a statement with this appeeling colour, splashes of fun and fruitfully fancy! Matching pieces are the absolute bomb this year, however if you're not into the whole crop top look, you can always throw on a cardigan to tone it down.

I'm absolutely loving gold accessories at the moment, especially triangular layered necklace and this Marc Jacobs watch.

Make up kept simple. Feel free to go for a tangerine lip, or if you're pasty pastries like me, a bit of bronzer, blush and fake tan can go a long way! Love it, hate it, think it's sublime, or merely don't rind?

Splitting up

Maxi skirts with leg splits are nothing but splitting hot this year! I picked up this adorable, double leg split maxi, with tangerine pepper prints from She's Electric. Match it with gold tones and minimalist hues to make a bit of a spicy statement!

You can split your legs all you want, because they come with built-in shorts to hide any nasty visual panties. (Just to reiterate because readers have been commenting on dem slutty open leg underwear exposure, relax they're just a pair of shorts!)

Watch this space!

We're back! Millions and billions of apologies for completely neglecting this blog, but keep tuned, we will be back and running in a few days (fingers crossed hours!).

I've been busying myself a lot this year with uni, work, volunteer projects and what not, so unfortunately this has meant the blogging life has had to suffer. But, I've been hard at work, shooting and making a few outfits for you guys. Hope you all enjoy and please forgive me!

In the mean time: here's a shoot of my dog catching a Cheerio. I made the rookie mistake of giving her a Cheerio once from my cereal. Now every time I rattle the box, she knows what's coming.

Travels through Hong Kong

This is one of the outfits I wore in Hong Kong. This is simple street-wear, mixed with tones of burgundy red and denim. A massive heads up: When you go travelling make sure you wear comfortable shoes. I cannot stress this enough. There is absolutely no point in packing cute wedges, or strappy sandals if they're going to give you blisters!

If you can't imagine walking 5 hours in those shoes, DO NOT PACK THEM.

I think I drank this Haagen Dazs in the quickest time possible with my three straws. Someone say pig? Honestly Hong Kong, China and Taiwan is like an amazing food festival. Your stomach is always enticed by all the weirdest and most(ly) delicious foods.

Me eating some Chinese Egg preserved in herbal tea and spices. (I thought it would be ridiculously bitter, but it was very sweet)

A boat out on the horizon. Although it never really rained when I was overseas, there was unfortunately limited beautiful blue skies, like the ones you get in Australia

Flowers Food and Fun in Hong Kong

I recently visited the beautiful Hong Kong, Taiwan and went to regions around China and it was absolutely amazing. Simply because I am utterly lazy, I will let all these gorgeous photos do the talking!

The food was mouthwatering, the prices dirt cheap and the people were loud, bubbly and full of life.

Food! More food! All the food in the world!
Look at all these things... I can't eat!

Lamb Brisket

Portuguese Tarts

During the celebration of Chinese New Year, flowers are seen as a symbol of prosperity for the coming year so they are extremely popular. They are sold on almost every second street and every business is decked from head to toe in the most beautiful flowers ever. It was quite hot when I went back (generally 20 degrees) so most people bought 2 boutiques of flowers because their first bunch blossomed too early.

Just giving fashion a miss this blog post!

Wedding of the century

Boredom hit hard over the past month, and instead of gowning myself in sorrow, my bestie and I decided to have a ''wedding of the century''.

White do you think? Ivory very good feeling about this one.

My mum happens make wedding dresses, so she gave me a hand on this lace, V-backless gown. The buttons can be done up, but personally I love having them undone - the V shape adds a vintage feel and sex appeal.

For general wear, add bright, bold accessories to avoid looking like a run away bride. Think bold lipstick, bright clutches and statement jewellery.
